  • Issue 00520 - EDGE v2.3 appears to be incompatible with NVIDIA driver 340.24

2.  Requirements

This update is only meant to work with EDGE v2.3 and should only be installed if you are running into issues using a newer NVIDIA driver and seeing errors such as "macros prefixed with '__' are reserved". If you are not having problems, you should not install this hotfix. Also, this hotfix should only be installed 'AFTER installing the Planet WCS patch and Lighting Patch in that order.

This update is currently available in the download section.

4.  Installation

Unpack the NVIDIA driver hotfix into the EDGE toplevel directory.

$ cd path/to/EDGE_v2.3
 $ unzip EDGE_v2.3_nvidia_driver_hotfix_150223.zip

5.  Usage

Run EDGE normally. This patch should not change any existing behavior other than the bug fixes noted above.
