Prosper's Development is broken into phases. As an effort to keep work focused on a bottom-up architecture, these phases should keep development on track and not gate higher level functions on lower level work.
#Phase 1: Database Setup Phase 1 is focused on building a sustainable database of price data. Also, this will include functions like build-costs, scheduled price updates, seeding new data into DB. This foundation provides the data for all subsequent Prosper tools.
#Phase 2: Utility Tools Phase 2 is where additional code developers can be brought in. This phase will include tools like KitBuilder, asset accounting, and contributor tracking. This phase should complete with a usable beta website to allow in-game work to start in earnest.
#Phase 3: Building the Sexy Phase 3 is where the real open-source work can begin. This phase will include all the extra tools to really push Prosper into a first-class application. Adding "apps" like Bacon, Toaster, And Quantum. These tools will add extra functionality to better enrich the performance and service of both the in-game EVE corp and allow for more interface with the general public
#Phase 4: Prosper Everywhere The end-goal is to bring Prosper functionality to the masses. The ability to have a functioning private staff will top-out, and it should be able to license Prosper's functionality to the general public for them to use the tools too. Though many metrics will be public facing, the additional functions of the Apps should be opened. Also, it is a dream to move the Prosper tools into the mobile app environment. This full suite will allow 24/7 connectivity and maximum coverage for EVE Online.
