MGMT01 is a Server 2019 with GUI. (taken from lab)

• use sconfig to make updates manual

• IP address is 10.0.5.10

• gateway is 10.0.5.2

• DNS should be set to the IP of the new DNS server (ad01 - 10.0.5.5)

• Hostname should be mgmt01-firstname

• Join it to your domain (in system properties and use the login for ad01)

• Configuration for server management

*add ad01 to the list of managed servers

After adding the roles and features, add user accounts in Active directory:

• first.lastname (domain named user)
• first.lastname-adm (domain named admin)

Next add the DNS records:

• Create a Reverse Lookup Zone for the 10.0.5 network
• Create an A record and PTR record for fw01-yourname
