About

The Witherblade is a heavy swinging sword that deals damage overtime to mobs you hit, withering them away. As you damage mobs you'll start to gain souls that can be used to heal health.

This weapon will not react well to being merged with netherite. Read more by about that here.

Soul Heal: Heal your health by standing still and holding sneak for about 1 second after collecting 500 soul energy.

Obtaining

Part of Witherblade, a Nether Fortress Core is found in Nether Fortress chests as 75% chance.

Once you have obtained the Nether Fortress Core, Witherblade is obtained by crafting it, in which you can see its recipe by using /trigger spellbound_recipes in chat. Witherblade is crafted by dropping the following items on top of a crafting table block:

  • 1 Nether Fortress Core
  • 1 Diamond Sword
  • 1 Soul Sand

Enchantment Enhancers

This weapon can be enchanted with any Sword enchantment.
