Platform Support Status - lightspark/lightspark GitHub Wiki
Platform Support
As an open-source C++ project, Lightspark is supported on a number of platforms. If the graphics and sound libraries it requires are supported, and a compiler can target it, Lightspark should "just work".
Windows Support
Releases beginning with 0.8.2 have a Windows installer. This installer will include the browser plugins, but they will not be installed automatically.
Linux Support
Linux users are encouraged to build from source. However, some older releases are available in binary form.
Operating System | Version | Release | Status |
---|---|---|---|
Ubuntu | 16.04 | 0.7.2 | In official repositories |
Debian | Jesse | 0.7.2 | In official repositories |
Fedora | 31 | 0.8.1 | In RPMFusion |
Getting continuous binary releases of Lightspark for Ubuntu is currently in progress.
Other Platforms
In the past, other platforms have been suggested for Lightspark. If you are interested, please open a pull request!
