Day Four:
First, I sued an oscilloscope to look at the signal the Arduino was sending the Pi. Mr. Harlow explained to me that the singal was correct, but that it was at thge wromng voltage. Used Nathan's setup to try to rack down issue. Could sometimes get everything tot work using his pi and board, but sometimes not. Determined that the image/code were not an issue. Tried many things. determined that a cable had to switched out. Found out that the Arduino was sending 5 volts using the osculliscope and the Pi wanted to read serial at 3 volts. I added in a chip to convert the power between 3 and 5 volts when the Pi reads serial.
