FLIR acquired Point Grey and now sells the same cameras under a new name.

Hardware

We have worked with both Point Grey Chameleon 3 and Blackfly S cameras. Both of these cameras use a global shutter which means they expose the full sensor to light all at once. They can both be set to triggering mode can will only capture and image if they receive a signal on one of their exposed GPIO input lines.

Software

• ROS driver: this is the official driver but it needs to be modified to enable external triggering.
