Rover Platform
There will be at least 2 Rover platform.
First Platform
the first platform will be the low-cost prototyping platform
- Dogu rover 5 platform with four motors and four encoders
Second Platform
the second platform is an handmade one.
The frame is made by a plug-in pipe structure hosting motors and sustaining a box. The motor's gearbox fits perfectly with the pipe's seal. The frame is waterproof, and wires go through holes filled with silicon and waterproof connectors, to the box.
The circuitry box was a wine box (an excellent one :) and it has a hinge on the long side, useful to prototype the robot circuitry itself.
The circuitry box is connected to the frame using an adhesive velcro.
