AOP alignment

FY26 AOPs.

LBNL: 9/30/26: Released Modelica Buildings Library with additional models for high performance heating and cooling plants, and with HVAC auto-sizing capability based on automated EnergyPlus load calculation

Sizing

Draft specification at https://lbl-srg.github.io/soep/softwareArchitecture.html.

Documentation is updated. Examples are running. One item to add is a parameter in Modelica for zone infiltration, as currently infiltration is not regarded. This is done.

Change ACH to ACS as input with displayUnit=1/h. Propagate media properties to C code.

Zone and system multipliers are not supported and trigger an error, see https://github.com/lbl-srg/soep/pull/69/changes Support for this should be proposed for the next AOP.

Once that is done, it is close to be wrapped up and merged.

Modelica Buildings Library

Backlog on fixing various issue, focus on https://github.com/lbl-srg/modelica-buildings/milestone/30

Block "summary" with main variables.

PNNL priority is zone side templates.

PNNL has milestones for end of FY to implement heat pump water heater, mostly using existing classes. Karthik works on finishing it for the PR.

Finish DX dehumidifier. Jianjun to update model, see review comments. https://github.com/lbl-srg/modelica-buildings/pull/3475

Finish direct evaporative cooler. Karthik to address feedback. https://github.com/lbl-srg/modelica-buildings/pull/3755

ORNL was working on template for DOAS. Depends on air filter and dx dehumidifier.
