AOP alignment

LBNL: 4/30/25, Modelica Buildings Library ready for first OpenStudio workflow from Spawn that includes an auto-sized HVAC system.

Sizing

Draft specification at https://lbl-srg.github.io/soep/softwareArchitecture.html.

Dave will work on Modelica integration of auto-sizing.

Kyle to add test coverage for groups on EnergyPlus side.

Will require Sizing:Zone input object in idf, and this adds programmatically an ideal air system used for sizing only. Kyle to add error message if sizing is required but not idf object is present.

OpenStudio integration

Modelica Buildings Library

Backlog on fixing various issue.

PNNL priority is zone side templates.

PNNL has milestones for end of FY to implement heat pump water heater, mostly using existing classes. PNNL to make verification of heat pump water heater.

ORNL latent wheel: This will be update after the thermal wheel is done due to dependencies:

First Jianjun to finish https://github.com/lbl-srg/modelica-buildings/pull/3554, then https://github.com/lbl-srg/modelica-buildings/pull/3475

Work on air filter. Sen made a new PR with references and updated documentation. This is the PR https://github.com/lbl-srg/modelica-buildings/pull/4178 Jianjun to review this PR. PR to master is https://github.com/lbl-srg/modelica-buildings/pull/3676

Current Sen is working on template for DOAS. Michael to review structure and make a development branch.

EnergyPlus-Modelica coupling

Spawn appears to have too high free floating room temperatures, https://github.com/lbl-srg/modelica-buildings/issues/4197
