Minutes

DOE peer review

Slides due to DOE on Fr April 13.

Assume merit review has reviewers that are not part of the peer review team. Maybe spend first 10 minutes explaining what has been done.

Refactoring room air balance

Kyle provided dll with E+ envelope, Thierry was able to load it and exchange data from Modelica. Very nice progress.

Kyle also set up unit tests on the E+ side.

Kyle to work on also exposing room volume and room floor area.

Next is to work towards a five zone VAV model.

JSON representation for OS front-end to Modelica

Work on adding graphical annotation in Modelica to JSON parser is ongoing.

FMI-QSS

Stuart and Thierry prepared slides that demonstrate successful simulation of bouncing ball problem and of the SpaceCooling3.mo model from the Buildings library. Both models agree with the analytical or the Dymola-computed solution.

Currently output variables for zero crossing functions are added manually, but this is work in progress to obtain them from JModelica-generated code.

Other items

None.

New action items

None.

Previous action items

Kyle to work on implementing the C functions (or stubs) so that Thierry can work on the FMU export.

Michael to work on JSON representation for Modelica HVAC that could become the basis for a schema-driven editor.
