Refactoring room air balance

New requirements for the EnergyPlus FMU were discussed per email. The new approach is to let EnergyPlus compute heat conduction through constructions and link it up to the room air and HVAC system in Modelica. The new approach was explained and discussed. Kyle will take a deeper look at the requirement document prior to committing to the work.

Thierry will send a link to an EnergyPlus branch where the heat and mass balance are disabled and EnergyPlus only computes heat conduction through constructions.

Heat conduction implementation

Edwin not on call.

JSON representation

Jianjun shared the link to the Modelica to JSON page. https://github.com/lbl-srg/modelica-json

OS front-end to Modelica

Michael not on call

FMI-QSS

JModelica is now capable of exporting FMUs with additional xml information which are relevant to better handle state events with QSS. Scope of work for FMU-QSS has been sent to Luigi, waiting currently for feedback.

Other items

None.

New action items

None.

Previous action items

Kyle to work on implementing the C functions (or stubs) so that Thierry can work on the FMU export.

Thierry to send the link to the EnergyPlus branch which only has heat conduction.
