How to Run

To run StimTool3, be sure you first go through the installation documents.

Once you have that installed, go through the following steps:

1. Open Psychopy3 Runner View
2. Click the green '+' button to add the StimTool.py file.
3. Highlight the StimTool.py file and click the Green Run button to run the script.
4. The StimTool Dialogue will open and enter:
   • Subject ID: Can be any string e.g. TEST
   • Administrator ID: Can be any string e.g. JT
   • Experiment Order: Select the study option to run the corresponding sequence of tasks.

Alternative Steps:

1. Navigate to the stimtool3 folder in your filesystem.
2. Add one of the shortcut links found in the folder to your desktop or taskbar. (Note: you may need to edit the properties of the shortcut to point to the correct paths for the stimtool3 repo and your installation of PsychoPy3.)
3. Double-click the shortcut to open the primary dialogue window for stimtool3.
4. The StimTool Dialogue will open. You can proceed to enter: Subject ID. Can be any string e.g. TEST Administrator ID. Can be any string e.g JT Experiment Order - select the study task list to run the sequence of task.

Experiment Order

Experiment Order are written in .TL files the contains the task name and run order. This is done so that individual studies can select the .TL file and then StimTool will run the tasks run sequentially.
