Edit controller configuration

There are two controller configurations (one for each joystick port) that can be edited for a game. As described in the The64 manual the configuration is constructed as a comma-separated string where each position corresponds to a specific joystick or controller function.

In the main window you can select the mappings for the different buttons and joystick directions for THEJoystick that comes with the machine. The "..." button next to the configuration field brings up a dialog where mappings can be configured for THEGamepad or an alternative USB controller (like the Logitech F710). Please note that it is the same configuration string (shown in the main window) that is edited for all controllers, if you change a mapping in one UI it is reflected in the UI for the others.

The different positions in the configuration string corresponds to the following functions on THEJoystick: image

The left shoulder, right shoulder, left stick and right stick are not available on THEJoystick but are common on other controllers and can be mapped in the dialog, the tab "Alternative USB controller".
