Custom Textures - ladyfey22/Hyperline GitHub Wiki
Custom textures are added by adding them to the folder mods/Hyperline/Graphics/Atlases/Gameplay/Hyperline. They allow you to apply custom textures to your hair (and even have it dependent on your dash count). It is recommended to make these textures by using modified assets from the base game or at the very least using them as a reference. Please note, if you update Hyperline using Everest and are using custom textures, they will not be auto copied between zips. Please keep a backup of any textures you use.
You can also add textures permanently by just adding them from another mod, so put it in the folder (creating if necessary) Mods/MyModName/Graphics/Atlases/Gameplay/Hyperline. If you want to ensure that textures aren't erased by everest when updating the mod, you can just create this path in your mods and drop the textures in.
For an asset dump check the Useful Links section of the Everest wiki:
The name of these textures are expected to be name##.png (or some other image type). When inputting the texture name in Hyperline's settings, just use the name section.
For example:
hairtexture00.png , hairtexture01.png, hairtexture02.png
You would input "hairtexture" into Hyperlines settings.
Hair Texture
Hair textures allow you to modify the shape of Madeline's hair (excluding the one on the very top of the head). When having a list of textures (like the structure shown above), it will alternate between them (00, then 01, then 02, then back to 00) along the length of the hair. You may specify as many of these textures as you like, however it won't go past the length of the hair.
For the default hair texture, check Atlases/Gameplay/characters/player/hair00.png in the asset dump.
Bangs Texture
Bangs textures allow you to modify the shape of the topmost hair section (the bangs). There are 3 textures that are expected for this.
For base assets, you can check bangs00.png, bangs01.png, and bangs02.png in folder Atlases/Gameplay/characters/player/ in the asset dump.
