KotOR Modding 201: Intermediate KotOR Modding - lachjames/KotOR-Modding-Guide GitHub Wiki
Note: This section assumes the reader has a fundamental understanding of KotOR modding, including how the game functions at high level, the different file formats used by the game, how to create/edit/instantiate templates, etc. If you are unfamiliar with these, or just want a refresher or to (maybe) learn something new, don't hesitate to check out the "Modding 101/102" pages, which respectively contain details on modding fundamentals, and a complete end-to-end example of creating a mod.
The Aurora/Odyssey engines is extremely powerful, and has a lot of functionality that modders are only now starting to fully understand, nearly 20 years after we first gained access to them through Neverwinter Nights 1 (for reference, I was six years old when that game came out). In this guide, we will go through some of the more complex and less-understood.
Please be aware that, as you progress further into this guide (and then into "KotOR Modding 301" especially), you will be reading content which might not be fully understood by either the authors or, for that matter, anyone in the KotOR modding community.
