Privacy Policy for OSMTracker for Android™

Data collected

OSMTracker collects the following data:

• Geolocation (GPS)
• Pictures (when explicitly requested via a picture-type waypoint)
• Sound recordings (when explicitly requested via a sound-type waypoint)
• Notes (when explicitly requested via a note-type waypoint)

This data is local to the Android phone, and not transmitted to any third party with the exception of the geolocation (GPS) data as explained thereafter.

Data transmitted

The geolocation (GPS) data is uploaded to OpenStreetMap when explicitly requested by the user via the "OSM Upload" feature. Please refer to the corresponding OpenStreetMap Privacy Policy.

The data is sent as a GPX file, associated with the OpenStreetMap account of the user.
