1. Why does this project need to exist?

It needs to exist because the current remote apps that are out there are either so simple that they become confusing like the apple remote or have so many buttons that they become confusing in that way.

2. What aspects of this project are good user experiences?

Creating a simple all in one remote creates a great user experience.

3. What aspects of this project are bad user experiences?

I don't see any bad user experience in this project.

4. Describe the user(s) of, and also how they are using -- this project?

The users of this project are going to be people with IPhones who also have a need for a simple and easy DVR remote. The benefit of this one is that it gives you a live view of the channel you want to go to so you can see if a channel you want to watch is at a commercial break.

5. What solutions may exist to improve the overall User Experience (UX)? Reference

As stated above, the main thing about this project that improves the overall experience is the live view of the channels on your phone app so you can see what's actually playing on the channel before you change it.
