Cherry Mead (Viking Blood)
INGREDIENTS For 1 gallon
- 1 gallon of Cherry Juicy Juice
- 3 pounds medium-bodied honey
- 1 pounds frozen cherries (pitted and thawed)
- 1/4 tsp yeast nutrient
- 1 tsp Lalvin 71B-1122 Narbonne Yeast strain, rehydrated according to package instructions
- After fermentation 1 can frozen Apple Cherry Concentrate to back sweeten
Note: I had to add more yeast next day to get fermentation to start

ABV: ~16 %
