Cherry Mead (Viking Blood)

INGREDIENTS For 1 gallon

  • 1 gallon of Cherry Juicy Juice
  • 3 pounds medium-bodied honey
  • 1 pounds frozen cherries (pitted and thawed)
  • 1/4 tsp yeast nutrient
  • 1 tsp Lalvin 71B-1122 Narbonne Yeast strain, rehydrated according to package instructions
  • After fermentation 1 can frozen Apple Cherry Concentrate to back sweeten

Note: I had to add more yeast next day to get fermentation to start

ABV: ~16 %
