Options: A Contemptor Dreadnought can purchase vehicle upgrades from the Space Marine Armoury. They are limited to the selections of Extra Armour, Searchlight and Smoke Launchers. A Salamander Contemptor Dreadnought may select Reinforced Ceramite.
If utilizing the Drop Pods from the Imperial Armour series the Contemptor Dreadnought may purchase one at the normal points cost.
Special Rules
Atomantic Shielding: Atomantic Shielding absorb the damage from one glancing or penetrating hit (from shooting attacks only) and then 'go down' as they dissipate the energy that was absorbed. The player can roll to repair the downed fields at the start of each of his turns. Roll 1D6 per field, and it comes back on line with a roll of 6+.

Notes: The Contemptor Dreadnought is built using the Vehicle Design Rules. Normally only Super Heavy vehicles can be equipped with Imperial Shields, but I made an exception in this case.

Daemonic Possession: A Daemon controls the vehicle and may ignore 'shaken' and 'stunned' results.
Destroyer: A tank with Destroyer upgrade causes enemy units forced to move due to a tank shock on a 4+ with normal saves allowed. A Dreadnought with Destroyer upgrade my re-roll one close combat miss in each round of close combat, and when rolling for Fire Frenzy will trigger Blood Rage on a 1 or 2.
Slow and Purposeful: Always count as stationary when firing, even if they moved in the same turn. But move as if in difficult terrain at all times, and never receive +1 Attack for charging. Also strike at I1 in close combat and never perform a Sweeping Advance.

Options: A Deathstrike Launcher can purchase vehicle upgrades from the Imperial Guard Armoury.
Special Rules
Assured Destruction: The Deathstrike Missile cannot be destroyed by a weapon destroyed result, only delayed. A crew shaken or stunned result does not prevent the missile from being fired.
Deathstrike Missile: Once the final position of the missile has been determined, mark the impact location with a counter. Roll D3+3" to determine the blast radius. All models fully or partially in range of the blast are hit. Note that its full strength 10 is used for armour penetration regardless of the vehicle's position.
Five minutes to launch...: A deathstrike missile may not be fired on the first turn of the game or if the vehicle has moved that turn. When firing, roll a dice and apply the following modifiers:
- +1 for each full turn
- -1 for each weapon destroyed
- -1 if crew shaken/stunned
On a roll of 6 or more, the Deathstrike Missile can be fired. A natural roll of 6 will always result in the missile being launched, regardless of negative modifiers.
Ignore Cover: Cover saves may not be taken against hits caused by a Deathstrike missile.
Notes: The Hunter is built using the Vehicle Design Rules. Pricing the cost of the missile is a fools errand, so making it 35pts more expensive than a Basilisk with the knowledge it can only fire once and possibly not at all.
