There are two claiming systems in the pack

Minecolonies: Default: off

Sometimes it's enabled and thus the following.

1. acquire a townhall block
2. place it down
3. your town now owns the land

FTB Claim System Default: on

I went with that because WODNA uses this wiki too, and it uses FTB Chunks to claim land whereas WOD primary (1.12.2) uses FTB Utilities.

1. hit 'e'
2. in the upper left, there is an RGB person, click it to form a team, hit 'esc' when done
3. hit 'e' again
4. in the upper left, there is a postage stamp, click it
5. this is the land claiming system.
6. in the lower right is your total claims as chunks you can make
7. use the left mouse button to draw out your claim
8. use the right mouse button to erase out your claim
9. there is check mark, click it to confirm your claim
10. there is a do not enter icon, click it to wipe your claims in the world in one go!
