Target group: Web developers working on KPN products

Goal: To quickly and easily build consistent web user interfaces.

Needs: A versioned and stable package, along with clear documentation, thoroughly tested to make it dependable.

Value: Faster and more convenient for the developer, lower costs and increased consistency for KPN. Maintainability for developers and KPN.

Key features: SCSS components, Web components, All UX Lab components, documentation on all components, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, continuous accessibility audits, code samples, setup documentation, customizable setup through variables, semantic versioning, changelog.

Product roadmap for 2020

Each of the items (divided by quarter) has a corresponding t-shirt size attached to it. This relates to the estimated relative size of the item that the team agreed upon. Items are meant to be epics, up for later refinement.

Quarter 1

  1. Automated visual testing (M)
  2. Ready-to-go, bundled packages through CDN (S)
  3. Refine documentation (S)
  4. Automatic icon generation (M)
  5. Include design rationale for each component (XL)

Quarter 2

  1. Automated testing setup (unit, end-to-end, cross-browser) (M)
