Network-Composition Wiki

Kaitlin Pet (LINK) and Daniel Kaiser (LINK) started developing this tool as a means of data-driven music composition. This repo contains the standalone downloadable version of the tool.

The tool in question is an application that encodes a given musical composition into a network framework. On this network framework one can make alterations and observations that guide the path of a random walker (WIKI) on the network. The path traced by this random walker is the output of the tool, a unique* (PROBABILITY ASTERISK HERE) musical piece that is similar, but distinct to the original piece. The app contains all necessary composition and analysis tools for this procedure.
