Change Next Page Previous Page touch targets - koreader/koreader GitHub Wiki
By default, KOReader assigns "Next Page" to tapping the right of the screen, and "Previous Page" to the left of the screen. Some users may prefer to touch the bottom of the screen for the next page, and top for the previous page.
Here's how to adjust that setting in the 2021 version of KOReader:
- In the book selection screen (not when reading a book) tap the top of the screen to bring up the menu bar, then press 🛠️ for Tools
- At the bottom of the menu, scroll across to page 2
- Select "More Tools"
- Select "Advanced Settings"
- Read the big scary warning message and press "OK"
- Scroll along until you find "
DTAP_ZONE_BACKWARD
". Tap on it, and edit the values to readh=0.5 w=1 x=0 y=0
- For "
DTAP_ZONE_FORWARD
", set the values toh=0.5 w=1 x=0 y=0.5
" - Press the "X" in the top right corner, and restart KOReader.
