True Purist Girl is the final challenge added into Pudding & Wakaba mod. The Player character is Wakaba, who starts with Birthright, Wakaba's Double Dreams, and must defeat The Beast. Completing challenge unlocks Wakaba's Double Dreams.

Difficulty

The main difficulty of this challenge is that all types of special rooms are absent except Boss room, or Mini-boss rooms. Wakaba must use her dream book, or dream card as her resources to proceed. Devil/Angel rooms also do not appear due to Wakaba's Double Dreams. Wakaba's Double Dreams 'selects' item pool when the item pedestals appear.

Clearing the room has 8% chance to spawn Wakaba's Dream card. Wakaba's Dream card ignores unlock check from spawned by Wakaba's Double Dreams.

Strategy

  • Memorizing item pools greatly helps in this challenge, to get desired items more quicker.
    • Getting Rock Bottom early can make most items that decrease stats more useful.
    • Treasure pool exclusives are most hardest to get, since there are so many items in the pool, making less chance to get wanted items.
  • Crane Game, Chests, Curse, Ultra Secret pool should be used with caution, as they appear later if Wakaba doesn't pick up the item.

Trivia

  • Except for specific routing, True Purist Girl is the only challenge that requires The Beast to complete among entire Steam Workshop.
