Even or Odd is a challenge added into Pudding & Wakaba mod. The Player character is Richer, and must defeat Mother. In this challenge, all items are blinded, which only can be get by certain circumstances. Completing challenge unlocks Richer's Flipper.

Difficulty

• Overall Difficulty - ★★★ (Similar with normal run)

The main difficulty in this challenge is that player has to 'challenge' to predict the item's quality. Sweets Catalog effect is changed to make the 'challenge' with the item pedestals. If the 'challenge' is succeded, Richer gets the item, or the item disappears if failed. Due to nature of the challenge, Curse of the Blind is not negated with Rabbit Ribbon, or other Wakaba's blind immunity items.

Richer only need to predict whether the item quality is 2/4 or 1/3. Quality 0 items and active items do not appear in this challenge.

Strategy

• Boss rooms does not have Q4 items normally, meaning Boss pool has more odd items than even items.
• Shop items and Devil deals can be taken with free if 'challenge' is succeded.
  • Shops are banned in this challenge, but items for sale can be appeared though.
