Black neko dreams is a challenge added into Pudding & Wakaba mod. In this challenge, HUD is completely disabled, making player's stats harder to track. The Player character is blindfolded Tainted Wakaba, who starts with Dead Cat, Guppy's Tail, Guppy's Collar, Incubus, and must defeat Mother. Completing challenge unlocks Neko Figure.

Unlike normal run, Tainted Wakaba starts with only 1 heart and does NOT start with Eat Heart, instead she starts with 3 Guppy items and Incubus. Incubus is the main resources for damage, And for starting with 4 items, the damage stats start very high, but keep in mind the damage stats for Tainted Wakaba decreases gradually if she do not get extra items, eventually getting weak on later floors. Thankfully, Tainted Wakaba has armor-piercing tears, which allows dealing with later Corpse enemies and Mother a lot more convenient. Also, entire HUD is disabled, so you have to feel what items and pocket items are being used, and no cheating with Goodtrip Mod!
