Contributing

Language

(partially from the Home of the main wiki)

1. Keep the language formal
   • We use ですます調 at the end of sentences
   • Please avoid slang or informal expressions
2. Use gender-neutral and inclusive language
3. The term "Folding" should be translated as the correct scientific term
   • In Japanese it is like 「折りたたみ」, 「折りたたむ」, 「折りたたまれる」, etc.

Coordination

• Please announce it in the Discord channel #ja-jp when you start working on a file to avoid doing the same thing twice
• Leave the original English sentence as comment in the file to make reviewing easier
• When you're done with your translation, open a PR with your changes
• We want to peer-review translations to ensure quality
