Native browser process cleanup results

2026-10-15. At harness 01523635bacc6a31cc0fc1d3bda201288e431bb0, all 13 source controls ran without skips (exit 0), and all four real Linux cgroup/PIDFD cleanup cases exited 0. The cases cover a TERM-resistant descendant, double fork/setsid after binding, an adopted zombie absent from cgroup.procs, and refusal to consume an unrelated direct-child zombie. Each owned group reached populated 0; observed original children disappeared; the independent guardian reported no errors. The launcher confirmed stop for both runs. Native fixture peak memory was 37.1 MiB, swap zero.

Source controls emitted previously observed Popen ResourceWarnings; full logs are retained. This is finite process-cleanup evidence, not browser, session-clock, PWA or exact-package acceptance. Native clock/request binding and desktop browser acceptance remain incomplete.

All commands used the resource launcher through the recorded guarded driver. DATA path use was 34,430,492,047 bytes at native admission, plus a 1 GiB reserve, below the 95e9 threshold. Native temporary fixtures were removed after successful cleanup; raw receipts and logs remain.
