Private announcement suppression: native run 01

The registered public Orca51.1 suppression cell at exact source c3d8881fbec4554a79a863b07a97335a9727c376 exited 1 at the intended ValueError: announcement-utterance check. Outer stop was confirmed at 2026-10-16 05:31:29.300996 UTC. Independent raw inspection confirms genuine target events, working reader/synthesis and clean process shutdown; the expected target utterance was absent. This is the registered finite suppression detection, not an arbitrary startup failure or package/browser acceptance.

The same-source native positive previously exited0 with the exact target utterance. Its result and all twelve prior failed environment runs remain attached to their actual revisions. DATA means /run/media/kmosoti/data/FabricO11y.

Registration and literal command

Pre-flight6208107900 was posted04:30:12 UTC; its05:30:12 silence window elapsed. Fresh complete board review found no findings, source/tool/guard pins matched, and the sole scheduler cleared only this one cell. No caller, key-format or package job auto-started. The command started05:31:15.291301 UTC, used a strict fresh1GiB whole-DATA reservation/census, and ran through the unchanged resource launcher:

Exact source was clean before/after. The direct c3d eight-method source check and documentation result are recorded in the positive report; later interactive caller tests were not substituted for exact-source evidence. The frozen protocol keeps its original role/live/focus prerequisites, eight-second observation loop, actual event/speech/synthesis joins, named failures and cleanup semantics. Only aria-live=off was applied after those prerequisites; no event, utterance, clock or product state was fabricated.

Actual discriminating evidence

Original DOM prerequisites were role=status, aria-live=polite, focus elsewhere. Actual Firefox namespace PID83 exposed DocURL:http://127.0.0.1:48752/probe for the unchanged167-byte public document. Orca actually loaded version51.1 from the privately prepared official source. The real focus utterance Keep focus here was accepted by SSIP225/message12; message13 contained button. The espeak-ng backend PID9 mapped libespeak-ng.

Recorded monotonic bounds were209493788282249–209501824348371ns. Two genuine PID83 target events followed the actual DOM action:

Both carried exactly Fabric public accessibility probe complete. Complete captured SSIP messages5–13 contain no accepted target utterance within the observation window or through shutdown. The strict pre-registered marked-SSML extractor was unchanged; no text was discarded or normalized to manufacture absence.

PCM nonetheless grew909,942→941,782 bytes, with other genuine focus/button speech. That growth alone correctly did not satisfy the target-utterance join. The source oracle first accepted the actual DOM, backend, PCM-growth and target-event conditions, then rejected the missing specific utterance by its registered name. The same-stack positive's exact target SSIP225/message14 remains the independent positive witness. These observations distinguish suppression from an unavailable reader, missing AT tree, dead synthesizer, malformed speech or generic nonzero exit. No sample-rate, acoustic, latency or general silence claim is inferred.

Containment and actual shutdown

Private PID/network/mount/IPC namespaces all differed from the controller; DATA-backed temporary/runtime/settings paths, private buses/Xvfb and file/null ALSA were used. Actual affinity was2-3 under CPU200%, tasks512, memory high1GiB/ max2GiB, no swap. Peak tasks331, pids.events max 0; memory.peak630,317,056 bytes, all OOM/memory event counters0 and swap use0. Admission census observed 67,772,925,382 bytes plus the1,073,741,824-byte reservation under95GB. All finite stream/record/aggregate/deadline limits stayed unchanged.

All persistent processes were alive until dependency-ordered cleanup. After session deletion, the HTTP server, observer and registry exited by TERM(-15); WebDriver, Orca, Speech Dispatcher and Xvfb exited0. All tool commands had exited0. Every stop was actually waited for, no forced kill occurred, cleanup_errors=[], the private namespace leader was reaped and outer containment stop was confirmed.

Because this expected semantic refusal exits1, the caller deliberately retained owned scratch/configuration/profile at DATA/scratch/announcement-browser-announcement-native-orca51-suppressed-01. The failed-run archive remains at DATA/evidence/fabric-work-3d441987324c4abaaf7b556dab4ff901. Retained files are not a live process or an unconfirmed shutdown; they have not been silently removed or relabelled as a successful exit0.

Exact identities and raw evidence

Prepared Orca51.1 is the same unmodified signed package and official status-role correction as the positive report. Firefox157.0.1, GeckoDriver0.37.1 and private Xvfb21.1.24 remain explicit. Native receipt binds the full Orca prepared inventory and source/schema admission; loaded runtime/module path and complete commands remain in the raw receipt/inside records.

Limits and remaining work

This closes the finite public environment suppression control only. Actual packaged-console status/alert announcements, keyboard/target inventory and the remaining browser matrix are unrun. They still require exact replacement#41, canonical staging, actual merged/runtime checks, relevant package positives and fresh scheduler clearance. Key-format/security and32-row controlled expiry retain their own prerequisites and receipts. No#45 completion, installed-device, accessibility-conformance, physical-listening or soak credit is supplied.
