Saddlebags are a dog equipment item. They allow dogs to carry items, or, in some cases, pick up and collect them for their owner.
Saddlebags are equipped in the GUI and have their own slot.
Similar to vanilla Leather Armor saddlebags can be dyed in RGB colors. It can be washed out in a cauldron full of water and redyed.
Two working dog groups in particular from being equipped with saddlebags. If a Hunting dog is equipped with saddlebags, it will pick up item drops from entities it has killed and store them for retrieval. Retriever dogs will be able to store more than one item, and instead of bringing items one by one to the player, will only return to them when their inventory is full.
Depending on the size of the dog, saddlebags have a different item capacity. Players who travel a lot should consider the size of their dog as a factor when breeding.
