Working Dogs Wiki

Working Dogs is that one dog mod everyone has wanted for years, but nobody has ever made... until now, when one sad sap who lives on cheap cinnamon whiskey, Adderall and frozen fish cakes got bored enough to do it.

Working Dogs (or Workdog for short) aims to give Minecraft players an easy to learn, but tough to master system to breed, train and play with their favorite breeds of real-life working dog. Every dog breed has its perks and downfalls, and with enough dedication, you can turn a pack of dangerous wolves into a crew of diligent, loyal dogs.

Workdog has a simulated genetics system, which you can read about here.

To see if your favorite breed is in the mod, and how it works with other dogs and animals, see the breed list. If you're a completionist and want to make sure you get every advancement, check this page.

PLEASE NOTE: Working Dogs is currently released as a "Lite" beta version! The wiki has been written with the entire scope of the mod in mind, meaning it is not currently 1:1 accurate with what you will experience in-game. We will do our best to edit in necessary information, but we are only a few people and might miss some things. Please bear with us!
