Overview
E-techs have been changed to be powerful but ammo hungry, providing high but difficult to sustain damage.
Most E-Techs follow these stat changes:
- +100% Ammo Cost
- +80% Accuracy
- -80% Max Inaccuracy
- -80% Spread
- -80% Recoil
- +80% Damage
- +80% Clip Size
- +80% Elemental Effect Damage
- +80% Elemental Effect Chance
Also E-Techs are now considered to be higher quality than Purple gear so they get an additional:
- -10% Spread
- +24% Damage
- +14% Clip Size
- +24% Elemental Effect Damage
Pistols
Beamer
Firing Mode Notes:
- Fires piercing beams like E-Tech Blasters.
Attribute Changes:
- Gets +10% Fire Rate.
Manufacturer Changes:
- Torgue gets an additional +40% Damage.
- Maliwan gets an additional +40% Damage.
Spiker
Firing Mode Notes:
- Fires a spike that explodes on contact with a delay.
- Deals 100% Rocket splash.
Attribute Changes:
- Gets +100% Damage instead of +80% because it cannot crit normally.
Manufacturer Changes:
- Torgue gets an additional +50% Damage.
- Maliwan gets an additional +50% Damage.
SMGs
Plasma Caster
Firing Mode Notes:
- Fires plasma that explodes for an additional 50% Grenade splash.
Attribute Changes:
- Gets +60% Damage instead of +80% because of extra splash.
Manufacturer Changes: None
Swarmer
Firing Mode Notes:
- Fires homing darts that explode on contact after a delay.
- Deals 100% Rocket splash.
Attribute Changes:
- Gets +100% Damage instead of +80% because it cannot crit normally.
Manufacturer Changes: None
Rifles
Blaster
Firing Mode Notes:
- Fires piercing beams.
Attribute Changes:
- Gets +10% Fire Rate.
Manufacturer Changes:
- Torgue gets an additional +40% Damage.
Holopoint
Firing Mode Notes:
- Fires accelerating beams that explode for an additional 80% Grenade splash.
Attribute Changes:
- Gets +60% Damage instead of +80% because of extra splash.
Manufacturer Changes: None
Shotguns
Convergence
Firing Mode Notes:
- Fires a tight cluster of piercing rails.
Attribute Changes: None
Manufacturer Changes:
- Torgue gets an additional +40% Damage.
Splattergun
Firing Mode Notes:
- Fires globs that bounce against surfaces and enemies.
- Globs explode on bounce for 100% Rocket splash.

Manufacturer Changes:
- Torgue gets an additional +2 projectile count.
Snipers
Railer
Firing Mode Notes:
- Fires a piercing rail.
Attribute Changes: None
Manufacturer Changes:
- Maliwan gets an additional +40% Damage.
Launchers
Destroyer
Firing Mode Notes:
- Fires a piercing rail that explodes for an additional 80% Rocket splash.
- Rails deal bullet damage and can crit.
Attribute Changes: None
Manufacturer Changes: None
PBFG
Firing Mode Notes:
- Fires a mass of plasma that explodes in a large radius for an additional 100% Rocket splash.
Attribute Changes:
- Doesn't get Min Accuracy and Spread improvements.
- Doesn't get Max Inaccuracy and Recoil improvements.
