This skill hard focuses on making shots pin point when firing under optimal conditions, the large accuracy and spread improvements will be felt more on shotguns.

  • Reduces recoil by +10% per point.
  • Reduces max inaccuracy by +10% per point.

Zer0 never got a skill that improves aim speed, also the rest handles the recoil and max inaccuracy to complement Precisi0n.

T3 - 0ne Sh0t 0ne Kill

  • Old effect removed.
  • Sniper bullets ignore shields.
  • Other gun types have a 25% chance for their bullets to ignore shields.

While yes B0re is broken under certain circumstances it also allowed for Zer0 to easily overcome its weakness of being overwhelmed by many enemies.

T4 - Kill C0nfirmed

Type: Standard

  • No longer stacks, comes into effect instantly when aiming.
  • Increases Critical Hit Damage by +8% per point.

Conditional Critical Hit Damage effects are interesting but doesn't really work due to how the critical damage is handled in Borderlands, this reduces the overall power but makes it reasonable to use within the game's own mechanics.

T5 - At 0ne with the Gun

T6 - Critical Ascensi0n

Type: Capstone

  • Damage increase removed.
  • Increases Critical Hit Damage by +10% per stack of Ascension.
  • Ascension stacks hold for longer but decay faster.
  • Ascension stacks can be gained through critical kills and critical hits.

Critical Ascensi0n is either abused or barely used, this tries to make it less exploitable but also useful in the moment.

Let's put a chance based effect on a limited timer and requires the least durable Vault Hunter to get hit to proc it, mmm yes. Also it's not broken because everyone says common melee damage increases on Zer0 is useless.

T2 - Grim

  • Increases shield regen by +0.7%/s per point.
  • Increases Skill cooldown rate by +5% per point.

Moved here since it's not good for melee. Greatly increased the Skill Cooldown Rate bonus to enable chaining Deception and because it's hard to take with the other great skills around it.

T2 - Ambush

T3 - Rising Sh0t

Type: Standard

  • Melee damage per stack is +2% per point, to match the gun damage bonus.

Very small thing that annoys me.

T3 - Unf0rseen

Type: Standard

  • Uses 100% skill damage instead of 60%
  • Blast radius increased.

T3 - Death Mark

Type: Game Changer

T4 - Innervate

Type: Standard

  • Increases movement speed by +7% per point.
  • Increases health regen by by +1%/s per point.
  • Increases damage resistance by by +8% per point.

Allows for Zer0 to sustain himself, shrug off some damage and quickly reposition during Decepti0n.

T5 - Tw0 Fang

Type: Standard

  • Fire twice chance is +8% per point, instead of +6%.

Allows the player to max out the chance with Class Mods, which is a massive boon for a few gun manufacturers like Dahl and Jakobs.

T6 - Death Bl0ss0m

Doubled the effect, nothing else.

T1 - Ir0n Hand

Type: Standard

  • Increases max health by +6% per point.
  • Increases melee damage by +6% per point.

T2 - Fearless

Type: Standard

  • Damage increase removed.
  • Increases health regen by +0.4%/s per point.

Gives melee Zer0 a small bit of recovery.

T2 - Be Like Water

Type: Standard

  • Increases bullet damage by +5% per point, instead of +4%.
  • Increases melee damage by +10% per point, instead of +6%.
  • Effect lasts for 8 seconds so it can used with Decepti0n easier.

Still incredibly niche but should be more impactful when it does get use.

T3 - F0ll0wthr0ugh

Type: Kill Skill

  • Melee damage bonus increased to +8% per point to match the gun damage bonus.

T3 - Like the Wind

Type: Standard

Description: While sprinting you gain increased Movement Speed, Damage Resistance and also deflect enemy bullets.

  • Movement Speed: +7% per point
  • Damage Reduction: +10% per point

Like the Wind's original effect was boring and very low impact, this change allows melee Zer0 to close the gap or even escape in situations that are usually unfavorable. Also swapped spots with Backstab so it's more available for other builds.

T3 - Execute

Type: Melee Override

T4 - Resurgence

Type: Standard

  • Activates on melee kills and when recovering from Fight For Your Life.
  • Restores 5% of missing health per point.
  • Increases the damage of your next melee strike by +50% per point.

Since it's mainly useful for mobbing we're making it even more impactful in those situations by enabling chain kills.

T5 - Backstab

Type: Standard

  • Tree position swapped with Like the Wind.

If you've gone down this far in the Bloodshed tree, chances are you'll actually need this.

T6 - Many Must Fall

Type: Capstone/Action Skill Augmentation

Description: Action Skill Augment Killing an enemy with a melee attack while Decepti0n is active causes you to deploy another holographic decoy, re-stealth, and adds time to Decepti0n's duration. This can be done multiple times in succession.
