Overview
This is balls.txt a WIP BLCMM mod for Borderlands 2. It is currently not available publicly, this Wiki serves to give as much information as possible about the changes made with notes to give insight on certain changes.
Terminology
This briefly explains a few terms used in this Wiki and sometimes by the mod itself to better clarify how things work.
Rifle Used to refer to the Assault Rifle or Combat Rifle class of guns.
Sniper Used to refer to the Sniper Rifle class of guns.
Launcher Used to refer to the Rocket Launcher class of guns.
Champion A property that an NPC can have, affects how their Health and Damage scales and prevents them from regenerating health in UVHM. Typically used by Badasses, Named Enemies and Bosses.
Game Stage The level stat of the world. For example in NVHM the Bloodshot Stronghold has a Game Stage of 11. In UVHM the Game Stage is equal to the Highest Player's Level or the Host's OP Level.
Player Stage The level stat of the Player, however unlike Player Level it also accounts for OP Levels.
NVHM, TVHM and UVHM Abbreviations for Normal Vault Hunter Mode, True Vault Hunter Mode and Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode.
World Drop A term used for when any applicable loot source successfully rolls to drop an item from the Legendary item pool.
Splash Damage Used to mention Grenade and Rocket damage, some skills and items boost "Splash Damage", meaning it boosts these two damage types.
Total Health Refers to a player or enemy's combined health and shield stats.
Goal of the Mod
Ultimately what this mod sets out to achieve is:
- Streamlined progression to support repeated playthroughs.
- Overhaul elemental effect to be viable and relevant against the average enemy in TVHM+.
- Expanding counterplay on problematic enemies.
- Tone down enemy damage in the late game so defensive builds can thrive beyond life steal.
- Tone down Player strength (outside of class mods) in the late game to be more grounded and closer to BL1.
- Make Raid Bosses easier, bringing them more inline to a Post-Game Super Boss, rather than a Raid Boss.
