- Describe how the team member will achieve the goal
2. Express Empathy
- Talk about what is difficult
- Talk about obstacles
- Explain why you're concerned as a fellow human being
3. Make Meaning
- Describe why the task is important
- Connect to the organization's larger vision
- Think about why people work for your company
