Digital Design - Experimental Wiki!

This is the Digital Design class experimental wiki. A wiki is a website with directly editable pages, usually by anyone!

Making changes to the wiki

Click the EDIT button above to edit any page that you're on.

While you're typing (editing) if you want to create a whole new page for something you're talking about just make the word you want to link in between double brackets [[just like this]] which will make a link just like this. Note that "just like this" is now a link! Click it to open up the new page and edit it! Wikis make it very easy to whip up a new website.

Click https://github.com/adam-p/markdown-here/wiki/Markdown-Cheatsheet if you want to see more codes you can use on your wiki pages. The "language" of this wiki is called "Markdown", a very common wiki language.

Assignment for today

Today, the requirement is for everyone to create a few wiki pages.

There are two possible starting places:

  1. Click on one of the already existing pages and EDIT that page. Say something about the topic and then create a new page link to add some more information. Create the new page link simply by typing the [[Add new page]] code to add a new page with new information about the topic that you want to add.
  2. Create a whole new topic! Just click the "New Page" button above and start a new topic. Add a couple of new pages to your topic.

Need a topic idea?

No need to worry. We got you covered. Why not....
