Your KeePass entries can be used in other web browsers and applications.

KeePass is the free, open source, light-weight and easy-to-use password manager that KeeFox uses to store the passwords you use in Firefox. Besides allowing you to log in to websites easily with KeeFox, KeePass also allows you to store passwords for other applications and other sensitive information.

A feature called AutoType allows you to automate the typing of characters in usernames and passwords as if you were actually pressing the keys on your keyboard. It can take a little bit of thought to get it working smoothly but most people's AutoType problems are related to web pages and you have KeeFox to take away that complication so next time you have to log in to a desktop application (e.g. Steam, Skype, etc.) consider putting your password for that service into your KeePass database and experiment with the AutoType feature.
