Odaiba Island

The spaceport (and foreigner enclave) is on an artificial island in the Harbor.

Before the Breen attack, flights left on the hour for Yamato Station in geosynchronous orbit. With the destruction of the station in the Breen attack, the only flights had been official Federation transports and the occasional package tour group.

The Federation had been slow-walking permits for the construction of a new station, which is partially complete but barely occupied. The project hads been taken over by a Ferengi casino-construction firm, which plans rapid completion.

Currently the extensive Federation embassy complex lies vacant. Entire neighborhoods are empty - for the moment, as Ferengi are moving in and seizing houses and offices.

The Metro

runs through here, but the station is currently shut down, pending removal of the border crossing infrastructure.

Transport between Odaiba and the Mainland is currently by corporate aircraft - or enterprising Gorn fisherfolk.
