Tadka Dal
Instapot HI 5m (intermittent release)
- 200g toor dal
- 700g water
- 2.5g turmeric
Sautée medium high covered
Brown onions
- 20g olive oil
- 300g onion
- 3g cumin seeds
- 3g coriander seeds
- 2 cloves, chopped
- 30g water
Sautée medium covered
Reduce heat. Add to pan and cook for 4m:
- 6 curry leaves, ground coarsely
- 20g garlic, minced
- 8g ginger, minced
- 6g salt
Add and cook for 10m:
- 280g tomatoes, chopped
Serve
Garnish with
- cilantro, chopped
