This is a list of lexicons created by users.

What is a lexicon?

In this context, a lexicon is a file that contains instructions to the computer about how to pronounce certain words if they are being mispronounced.

Join The Discussion

For all users on TextToTalk v1.12.0.0 or higher:

  • Download the community lexicon managed by johnysandels and ryankhart

    Download Community Lexicon

  • Extract the .zip file.

  • In FFXIV, go to the TextToTalk configuration menu.

  • In the Synthesizer Settings tab, expand the "Voices" section.

  • Click on the "Open Lexicon" button.

  • Select the .pls file from the extracted lexicon download.

  • Click "Open"

You should now have successfully installed the community lexicon!

(Legacy) For users on TextToTalk v1.11.1.0 or lower and who are using Amazon Polly:

Due to Amazon Polly's 4000-character limit per lexicon and 5-lexicon limit, users on v1.11.1.0 or lower must keep multiple lexicons (no more than 5) at less than 4000 characters per file. This issue is handled automatically on 1.12.0.0 and higher.
