For my data self portrait I decided to use the data from my continuous glucose monitor and make a visual representation of that data that is more interesting that the app interface on my phone that I used to track my glucose levels. I decided to make a glucose molecule that grew and shrunk as the glucose data grew and shrunk. I took 24 hours worth of glucose monitor data to use and drew a glucose molecule for the data to control.
Future iterations would include the time and date added to the canvas as well as information about when I ate food and exercised so the viewer could see how food and exercise change my glucose levels.
