Install Sqlite - jzohrab/lute GitHub Wiki
This documentation is deprecated/obsolete. Lute v2 has been replaced by Lute v3, a full Python rewrite. Please see the Lute v3 manual which includes notes on installation. If you have Lute v2, you can easily migrate to v3. Thank you!
The official Sqlite site: https://www.sqlite.org/download.html
https://www.sqlitetutorial.net/download-install-sqlite/ also has installation notes, but refers you to the above link.
Can probably use Homebrew: brew install sqlite or similar.
I believe that Windows requires another PHP Sqlite driver or extra configuration, but am not certain. Ref https://www.php.net/manual/en/sqlite3.installation.php -- input appreciated!
Use your package manager
sudo apt update
sudo apt purge sqlite # Get rid of any old install?
sudo apt install sqlite3
Open up a command prompt, and type the following:
sqlite3 --version
It should return something roughly like the following (the exact numbers don't matter, as long as it's around 3.37-ish; I have 3.39)
3.37.2 2022-01-06 13:25:41 872ba256cbf61d9290b571c0e6d82a20c224ca3ad82971edc46b29818d5dalt1
Windows users will need to add Sqlite to the system PATH.
