-
Download the file named:
windows-x86_64.zip
-
Extract the ZIP file Right-click → "Extract All..." or use a tool like 7-Zip.
-
Inside the extracted folder, you'll find the binary:
luna-installer.exe
-
Run the installer by double-clicking it.
⚠️ Windows SmartScreen Warning
The first time you run the installer, you may see a Windows Defender SmartScreen warning.
Why does this Warning appear? Is the Installer unsafe? No, this warning is put in place by Microsoft to warn against unsinged executables. Code signing is a way of making sure an executable is made by the people who you think it is and not a 3rd party one sent to you by a malicious actor.
Code signing costs hundrets of dollars a year and therefore is not financially feasable to do for this installer.
