9/21/20 - For this lab we answered questions about hard drives, specifically about their details & the parts that make a hard drive work. We also looked at Solid State Drives (SSD), which are typically faster than hard drives and use non-volatile flash memory to store data. We also looked at the moving parts of a hard drive, the head, which writes onto platters to store data. Also note that cloud storage is also a viable option for storage used by some people, where data is stored using 3rd party companies in their storage systems and it can be accessed anywhere.
