Welcome to the BidLite 2.0 wiki!

BidLite 2.0 is an evolution of the original BidLite application that was built in a simple google sheet. BidLite 2.0 is a simple web application that services an extremely quick bidding process for plumbing jobs. In theory BidLite 2.0 could be used for electrical bids as well since electrical work can also be bid by fixture. The user can input the final cost of previous jobs and BidLite 2.0 will calculate the average cost of the installation of a single fixture. Therefore, the only data required to bid the next job is the number of fixtures which can be input within a matter of seconds. BidLite will then pull on all its best data entries and produce an accurate bid for the job. Additionally, BidLite has a bit more customization for each bid, for example if the job is high-end or if the job is going to be unusually difficult for any reason such as difficult access or what have you.

There are two things that make BidLite special:

  1. BidLite can be used to bid a job in about 10 seconds or less. Greatly decreasing time to produce bids for companies. The trade for this speed is accuracy.
  2. To combat the potential inaccuracy of BidLite, each time a completed job is entered into the BidLite database by the user, BidLite will become more and more accurate over time.
