I found a Chicony box at the recycler with what felt like white Alps in it. It wasn't until later when I started the teardown and cleaning that I realized it was actually a board made by Forward, the company that Alps eventually had making their simplified switches. It features nice doubleshot ABS caps and Alps white switches. The plastic plate gives the board a nice subtle bounce and isn't nearly as cheap as you'd expect it to feel.
