This board features some incredibly snappy rubberdomes and pad printed ABS keycaps. It is remarkably cheaply built but has enough style to make it worth saving.

The matrix is held to the bottom of the dome plate with some adhesive foam which had completely decomposed. Quite a bit of time was spent with some isopropyl alcohol and a plastic scraper getting it cleaned up. New foam was made from some large double sided foam adhesive sheets. I have no idea how these will hold up over the next 40 years but can only I hope foam technology has gotten better since this board was made.

This project stalled out as I realized that the protocol is at the very least not AT/XT. There's only a single data wire which most likely indicates serial of some sort. It's a conductive contact matrix so something like Soarer's Controller can handle it if I ever get around to making a replacement controller.
