This board features a compact layout, dye sublimated PBT caps, and Alps orange switches. The cleanup was very satisfying since, underneath the grime, the board was in great shape. The plate was sanded back to bare metal and coated with a high temperature paint that gave it a nice semi-textured finish reminiscent of old camera gear. The spacebar and trim were sous-vide-retrobrighted to match the PBT/PVC of the rest of the board. Conversion was done internally with a Teensy 2.0 running TMK. Switches were ultrasonic cleaned and wax-boiled.

The 2KRO blocking combined with the matrix layout unfotunatley gets in the way of very fast typing. I tend to pound in common words almost like a chord meaning something like 'and' brifly has all 3 letters pressed at once. Needing to pace myself on the board kind of kills the experience. I'll probably make a custom PCB for this and the M0116 at some point. I think they're similar enough that the same PCB can have holes to accomodate both switch configurations.
