3D-Panning for Headphone
The TPF-JAM-TOOL communicates with the TPF-Client.app over OSC (OpenSoundControl).
- The TPF client sends the ‘peer names’ to the Reaper tracks and also reflects them in the radar/spider of the ICST_AmbiEnc plugin.
- For this to work, the OSC receive port must be activated in the Ambisonics Encoder and the port set to 50001. Open 'Preferences --> OSC In'
- If you change a ‘Jam Tool Template’ in Reaper, you have to close and reopen the ‘TPF client.app’ using the ‘ON/OFF’ buttons. Only then will the names of the track tracks and the AmbiEncoder spider be added.
- For more informations about the ICST AmbiEncoder go to ambisonics.ch
Placements & Room:
- Based on the loaded presets, you can make your own individual placements in the AmbiEncoder spider.
- The IEM Room Plugin allows you to find your own room simulation. Experiment with it a little.
